Research Scientist (Analysis & Purification)

Qualification : M.Sc Analytical Chemistry.

Experience :

• >2 Years experience within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a CRO, although fresh graduates will be considered also.

• Experience with HPLC-MS and/or NMR would be an advantage.

• Experience of working within a high throughput environment would be an advantage.

Key Performance Area :

• Provide analytical support to the chemists in the lab.

• Prepare written reports according to company format.

• Work to good laboratory standard in accordance with company practice and COSHH/SHE legislation.

• Provide sound scientific input into problem solving discussions.

Key Competence Area :

• Good record-keeping skills.

• Ability to communicate and discuss results in an effective manner.

• A reliable and cooperative team player.

• A self-motivated and enthusiastic person with a flexible approach to working hours.

• Must have good IT skills and knowledge of using MSWord, MS Power-point and MS Excel..
