Senior Research
Scientist (Chemistry)
Qualification : M.Sc Organic Chemistry with relevant
experience or PhD chemistry with relevant experience.
Experience :
-
>5 Years experience within the pharmaceutical
industry, preferably with a CRO.
-
Proven experience of delivering to challenging
deadlines.
-
Proven experience in leading a team of chemists.
-
Proven experience in problem solving.
-
Experience with parallel synthesis would be an
advantage.
Key Performance Area :
-
Participate and lead a laboratory-based team to
produce novel compounds.
-
Propose, evaluate and develop synthetic routes in
the laboratory to determine optimum/preferred conditions.
-
Prepare written reports according to company
format.
-
Experience with presenting work to management.
-
Work to good laboratory standard in accordance
with company practice and COSHH/SHE legislation.
-
Provide sound scientific input into problem
solving discussions.
-
Be responsible for the training and development
of co-workers.
